We are offering Fergus, Gaelleda Myko of Shirelands, our much loved KC Registered Golden Retriever for stud. He has 34 show champions in his 5 generation pedigree. His Sire is Bear of Jalk Kennels, a popular stud who is producing stunning puppies.

Fergus has a gentle, happy temperament, is up to date with his vaccinations, in excellent health and with excellent health test results.

He has a current clear eye certificate and Gonioscopy- PLA Grade 0. Hips BVA 5 - 5 Elbows BVA 0-0

Fergus is one of the few golden retrievers tested and clear for Icthyosis 1 and 2.

In short, Fergus has everything you could hope for in a stud. Low co-efficient, excellent breeding, handsome looks with black nose, good bone structure/conformation, pale cream colour, and most importantly gentle temperament.

Stud fee is payable at first of 2 matings, where you will receive copies of 5 generation pedigree and all health test results. A stud contract will be issued.

We recommend your bitch has a progesterone test to accurately obtain the best days for mating. Artificial Insemination can be an option if you prefer. This procedure is carried out by a Licensed Vet in Wolverhampton at a reasonable extra cost.

In the unlikely event that the mating does not result in a litter from your bitch, we offer one free repeat mating at her next season if progesterone testing was done.

AS a fully council licensed breeder you can be sure that all health regulations are being followed and that regular checks are made on our dogs and premises. Our dogs are all family dogs who live inside. We don’t use crates or kennels.
